Legislative Prayer Breakfast

Held annually on the Saturday before the Georgia General Assembly convenes, the GBCC Legislative Prayer Breakfast strives to set the tone for the political season by strengthen the bond of unity among state and local elected officials, community, business and religious leaders throughout the state.

Scholarship Awards Banquet & Ball
Held annually during the month of May, this signature black-tie event raises funds to establish scholarships for disadvantaged African-American graduating high school seniors across the state who plan on attending post-secondary institutions, with aspirations of becoming future entrepreneurs. In addition, the GBCC assists all scholarship recipients acquire summer internships, financial aid assistance, and provides mentors who will introduce the students to entrepreneurship and much more.

Networking Opportunity Mixers
GBCC mixers serve as a great opportunity for members to access potential customers, partners and deals. Meeting dates vary.

NATIONAL BLACK CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The GBCC is an affiliate of the National Black Chamber of Commerce, Inc (NBCC). The NBCC is a trade organization made up of 190 affiliates representing more than 100,000 African-American owned businesses nationwide.

Entrepreneurial Workshops and Seminars
Works and seminars are held throughout the year to educate and provide businesses the tools to achieve successful business development and provide resources for contract opportunities.
